American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA)
Group of medical and other professionals engaged in treatment of spinal cord injury: to promote and establish standards for health care, education, to foster research and to facilitate communication between members.

Canadian & American Spinal Research Organization
Dedicated to the funding of targeted research to maximize functional recovery and cure paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Also helps to reduce spinal cord injuries through prevention and awareness programs.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation
A merger of the American Paralysis Association and the Christopher Reeve Foundation. Supports research to develop effective treatments and a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Provides a comprehensive source of information for people living with paralysis and their caregivers.

Conquer Paralysis Now
Funds scientific research, medical treatment, rehabilitation and technological advances that lead us toward a cure – whether through positive advances or failures that help guide the next effort.

Facing Disability
A web resource with more than 1,000 videos drawn from interviews of people with spinal cord injuries, their families, caregivers and experts.

Life Rolls On
Dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with various disabilities. Believes that adaptive surfing and skating may inspire infinite possibilities beyond any disability.

Mike Utley Foundation
Committed to providing financial support of selected research, rehabilitation and education programs on spinal cord injuries. It seeks financial assistance through special events, fund-raising, and corporate and individual support.

Morton Cure Paralysis Fund
Dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries by raising money for spinal cord injury research. Uses a peer review process of experts to allocate its funds to projects that offer the most potential for moving science forward.

Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA)
This site is a resource center for veterans and for all American with a spinal cord injury or disease, as well as their families and the professional communities who serve them.

University of Alabama at Birmingham Spinal Cord Injury Model System Information Network
A resource to promote knowledge in the areas of research, health and quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries, their families, and SCI-related professionals. Includes educational materials and research.

Spinal Cord Injury Network International
A non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating access to quality health care by providing information and referral services to spinal-cord-injured individuals and their families.

United Spinal Association
Nonprofit membership organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of all people living with spinal cord injuries and disorders, and providing support and information to loved ones, care providers and professionals.

Will2Walk Foundation
A nonprofit organization whose mission is to keep people with SCI active, fit and independent. They aim to inspire people with SCI to achieve the highest quality of life possible.

Wings for Life
Provides targeted financial support to enable the implementation of important research projects focusing on curing paraplegia. They also support revolutionary compensatory treatments, which promise to significantly improve the quality of life of paraplegic patients.
